I've received several emails about character portraits over the last week, so I figured I might as well make a general announcement. I do accept private commissions on occasion, if my workload allows. The last few months I just haven't had the time. I've been pretty busy with layout and behind the scenes administrative stuff, but there is a light at the end of that tunnel, now that the studio has a few people applying for that sort of work. So... I'm tentatively opening back up for private commissions. I'll take ten new orders for February and if that works out, I'll do another ten in March, and so on. Below are my rates for the styles people tend to ask for.

Head & shoulders portrait with abstract background: $35 (5"x7"@300dpi)
Head & shoulders portrait with full background: $50 (5"x7"@300dpi)
Full body portrait with abstract background: $75 (8.5"x11"@300dpi)
Full body portrait with full background: $125 (8.5"x11"@300dpi)
Multiple characters with full background: negotiable based on complexity.

I'll do poster size work as well, but on a case by case basis (that'll take up several of the slots allotted for the month). And I think that's about it.
