I love Rasputina and Beck [swoon]

1) Nothing bad ever happends to me - Oingo Boingo
2) They - Jem
3) Run like hell - Pink Floyd
4) Bring the Noise - Anthrax w/Public Enemy
5) Voices - Disturbed
6) Fuck You - Ani DeFranco

Run like Hell is one of my favs too. I love Pink Floyd.

I wish I could have seen them live.

Their last concert was when I unemployed and broke.

My best friend at the time turned me onto 'Dark Side of the Moon' and I was hooked immediately.

The closest I came to seeing them was when they played the Vet in Philly. I was in the Navy at the time, working nights, riding around the shipyard in a patrol car. The night they played I had duty, so I drove my patrol car over to the lot closest to the Vet, sat on the room of my car and listened to show. It was just loud enouigh to hear. Not great, but better than nothing.

I have a few Beck CDs now and he's really starting to grow on me. elissa_carey turned me on to Rasputina. Great stuff. :)

I'm glad you're enjoying them -- I'm not sure what of theirs you've picked up (other than "Transylvanian Concubine" and some or all of How We Quit the Forest), so just in case you don't have it yet, I suggest Cabin Fever! and the remixes version, My Fever Broke. You might like "State Fair" and "Sweet Water Kill," all versions.

I found "Transylvanian Concubine" on a Buffy Soundtrack IIRC and I picked up How We Quit the Forest after I fell in love with "Sign of the Zodiac". I'll try these too. Thanks. :)

2. Origin of Love -- Hedwig and the Angry Inch

Great song, great movie, great everything...

Love the movie. Love the songs. I want to see the show live.

Excellent choices!!
I think the only one i'm not familiar with is #2...
(And i find it eerie how many co-worker names are coming up in the people i'm tagging -- as in like, the band-names, and what not.)

Definitely reminds me of Rocky Horror.
