Longtime Steve Jackson Games editor Scott Haring and his family were in a fatal car accident on Sunday while driving home to Buda, Texas from a vacation. Scott's youngest stepson, 12-year-old James Stephen Brown, was killed. Scott has been hospitalized. His wife, Sallye, and other stepson, Porter Brown, 15, were injured.
Scott and I worked together at Obsidian Studios. He's a fine editor and a good friend. My deepest condolences to Scott and his family for their loss.
A lot of people have had really good things to say about Scott and his family. I feel for his family and wish him nothing but all the best.
