Just saw Narnia

The movie was good. It stayed pretty faithful to the book too. I thought the armor was too shiny and clean... but I just finished read AFFC. That could have something to do with it. ;)

Tilda Swinton... oh yes, she'll be making an appearance in one of my comics. I loved her in this (and in Constantine too).

I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing it. :)

Worth seeing in the theater for sure.

Just a matter of finding someone to babysit. ;)

She was the best thing in Constantine! In fact she's the best thing in most films she's in!

Second best thing in Constantine. Only behind the Devil. But only barely.

Just IMHO.

:)

Hehe. The devil was a riot.

A Feast For Crows by George R. R. Martin. Great fantasy series.

Oh, of course! Thanks. :)

I saw it on Tuesday (we did the books so we got a screening) and enjoyed it. Not a brilliant movie, and I think it's because they stayed a little TOO faithful to the books (particularly in not fleshing out the older kids more--they're still very flat), but I did like it. Much fun, and I think it'll do well. I'd certainly go see the sequels.
And yes, Tilda Swinton was good. She was great in Constantine--actually, everyone except Keanu was. Such a shame.

"we did the books so we got a screening"

Which books?

Keanu didn't ruin the movie and that's all I usually hope for from him. I really wish they cast someone else.

It could have gone either way...

Yeah. I was a wee bit worried but it turned out okay in the end. I'm curious to see how many of the books they adapt. I'd love to see Prince Caspian.

After AFFC, everything else is a ray of freaking sunshine. :)
